Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our skilled nursing center. The role oversees nursing care, medication administration, and shift leadership on 12-hour shifts.

We are seeking Florida-licensed RNs with at least 6 months of geriatric experience, strong communication skills, and a compassionate bedside presence. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Florida RN license.
• At least 6 months of geriatric nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Warm, friendly and caring bedside manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing staff on shift.
• Administer direct care as needed.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Perform rounds twice per shift to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Keep physicians and families informed about changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain residents’ dignity and safety.
• Document all care accurately.
• Respond to the resident call system promptly.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
• Accompany physicians on rounds.
• Promote restorative care to maximize resident independence.
