Job summary

Mungu Capable Homes is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team to provide care to clients in a residential assisted living located in Chanhassen.

This role includes conducting health assessments, assisting with care planning such as scheduling and accompanying appointments, and performing skilled nursing procedures to ensure each client's medical needs are safely and effectively managed.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment.
• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• First aid/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of new residents’ health condition.
• Create personalized care plans in conjunction with the L/ALD, doctors, other nurses, and care professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and observer residents’ conditions.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to residents and families.
• Communicate and collaborate with residents, families, unlicensed staff, case managers, healthcare professionals, and management.
• Maintain accurate health records of residents.
• Respond promptly to health changes or emergencies.
