Job summary

CCMC seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming. You will help promote independence, document care plans, and support meals and hydration while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Must meet background check requirements; CPR/First Aid within 30 days is preferred. Experience with residents with dementia is a plus and you will work closely with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must meet Division background check requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification allowed or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Demonstrated interest and ability to care for residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
• Promote resident self-involvement in care where possible.
• Document resident services in care plans.
• Transport or assist residents with ambulation.
• Provide meals and fluids, assist with feeding as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Support staff in delivering resident-centered care.
• Observe changes in residents and report promptly.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff.
