Job summary

Gravitas is seeking a Resident Care Assistant/STNA/AIDE/CNA to join our team. You will provide comprehensive personal care for residents, assist with meals, and support daily living activities in a resident-focused environment.

New ownership brings a commitment to high-quality care, ongoing education, and collaboration with the Wellness Director to update service plans and ensure safety and comfort for all residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform personal care tasks for residents.
• Ability to follow charting procedures for resident care items.
• Commitment to infection control practices to prevent disease spread.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with all personal care for residents (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers).
• Care for residents' environment, including light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to the Wellness Director at shift changes.
• Assist with residents' nutritional needs, setting tables, serving meals, and substitutions as needed.
• Support residents' recreational needs by facilitating activities and attending programs/events.
• Ensure daily resident care planning through collaboration with the Wellness Director.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Pursue and complete continuing education to meet federal regulations.
