The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Ambulatory Clinic LPN II in the Landon Center on Aging to coordinate patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The LPN will perform nursing duties, document in EMR, administer medications, and support physicians and patients/families in exam and treatment processes.

Experience in a medical office setting and current LPN licensure are preferred. The role emphasizes pre-visit planning, patient education, and timely charting within the EMR

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse graduate from an accredited program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and prepare them for examination or procedure.
• Record health history and note abnormal findings for physician.
• Obtain vital signs and conduct required screens.
• Administer medications as ordered per nursing standards.
• Coordinate with RN/MD for patient education and follow-up.
