South Ogden Post-Acute Rehab in South Ogden, UT is seeking a full-time Activities Specialist to support residents’ physical, mental, and social wellbeing by executing engaging activity plans. You will work under the Activities Director to tailor individual and group activities to each resident’s abilities and interests.

The role emphasizes adapting activities to cognitive and physical levels, promoting independence, and maintaining a clean, organized activity space.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• TRT or CTRS Certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Some prior activities experience preferred.
• Love for the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Supervisor execute activity plans that benefit residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Identify ways to support residents’ activity needs and preferences, routines, and choices.
• Adapt activities to match cognitive and physical levels using segmentation, prompts, and demonstrations.
• Maintain/clean activity equipment and space to keep areas orderly.
