CareOne at Sharon in Sharon, MA is seeking a Recreation Assistant to plan and provide group and individual activities for our geriatric residents, helping enhance quality of life. You will support discharge planning, activity care plans, and assessments as part of the care team.

We offer full-time and part-time shifts with a pay range of $16.25 to $17.45 per hour. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required; prior long-term care recreation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings/weekends.
• Previous experience in a Recreation/Activities position in long term care preferred.
• Previous experience with dementia activities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and assist with the activity programs of this facility.
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
