Job summary

Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Program Assistant to enhance the well-being of Continuing Care residents through physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, and emotional activities. You will work with the Programming team to tailor therapeutic and recreational activities to residents' needs and interests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with the geriatric population or in related fields.
• Experience as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents.
• Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring safety.
• Collaborate with team members, management, and volunteers to deliver programs.
• Monitor changes in residents' needs and report to the Programming Manager.
• Manage program supplies and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Lead and set up group and individual activities.
