Job summary

Bedrock Energy seeks a Technical Operations Lead to orchestrate the company’s technical operations and coordinate engineering programs, field deployment, and product development lifecycles. You will shepherd drilling and completions workflows, ensuring disciplined execution and clear ownership across Operations Engineering, Field Operations, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of drilling, completions, geothermal, or similar subsurface operations.
• Demonstrated strength in team & project management, coordination, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, review, delivery, and implementation of drilling & completions programs.
• Act as the primary organizer and driver of drilling & completions program cycles from requirements gathering to field release.
• Manage timelines, scopes, cross-functional inputs, and documentation to ensure programs are field-ready.
• Maintain alignment between engineering intent, operational feasibility, and company objectives for safety, quality, uptime, cost and performance.
• Work with Product and Technology Engineering to prioritize R&D projects and facilitate safety and efficiency.
• Serve as communication hub between Technology Engineering, Operations Engineering, and Field Operations.
• Coordinate readiness reviews for upcoming field operations including training, risk mitigations, resources, and documentation.
• Oversee resources, schedules, and deliverables across Operations Engineering and external stakeholders.
• Represent Operations Engineering in cross-functional and financial meetings to align initiatives with budget and strategy.
