Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Associate, Development to support utility-scale energy project development, with emphasis on geothermal in the Desert Southwest. The role collaborates with internal teams to advance projects from concept through permitting and land control.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in renewable energy, with strong communication and organizational skills to manage negotiations and stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in renewable/clean energy.
• Strong understanding of the development process for clean and renewable energy projects.
• Strong organizational, networking, leadership, time management, and accounting skills.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advance geothermal, solar, energy storage, wind and other energy project developments in the Desert Southwest.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments, and site reconnaissance.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases and easements.
• Coordinate landowner communication efforts and obtain permits.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, officials and other stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling; manage tasks to budgets and schedules.
