Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks staff engineers to gain broad exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed professional engineers.

You will rotate through field drilling, laboratory data review, and geotechnical report drafting, with mentorship toward PE licensure and exam support. A valid driver’s license and field capability on construction sites are required.

Qualifications

• EIT certification or exam scheduled.
• Clear technical writing skills with ability to draft precise reports.
• Willingness to work in the field on active project sites.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
