Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure across geotechnical investigations, materials testing, and forensic assignments under licensed engineers. You will write reports and support field crews on projects from building pads to heavy industrial programs.

Success leads toward PE licensure with structured mentorship and exam support, as you rotate through geotechnical, materials, and forensic programs while learning to document rigorously and communicate

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or exam scheduled.
• Field-willing: field work on real projects in varying weather.
• Clear technical writing required.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
