Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to engage in geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and rigorous report writing under licensed engineers.

You will rotate through field drilling, data reduction, and geotechnical reporting while developing your path toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support. This role blends office analysis with on-site work on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam scheduled.
• Willing to work in the field on construction sites.
• Clear technical writing.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs
• Reduce and review laboratory data
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support
