Job summary

Equilibrium is seeking Junior to Intermediate Rock Mechanics Engineers in the United States. You will support data collection, field programs, analysis, design and optimization of rock engineering solutions for open pit and underground mines.

Collaborate with senior staff on challenging projects and contribute to slope stability and ground support designs. The role emphasizes field work, data interpretation and technical reporting, with opportunities for growth and involvement in diverse mining

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Geotechnical/Mining/Civil Eng or related field.
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret geotechnical data.
Familiarity with rock mass classification systems and mining environments.
Experience in both open pit and underground settings is valued.

Responsibilities

Perform field work supporting geological, geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations.
Interpret geological and geotechnical data for slope stability and ground support.
Conduct geotechnical analyses for open pit slopes and underground excavations.
Prepare technical reports, documentation and presentations for teams.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups across mining, geology and operations.
