Job summary

Nicholson Construction is seeking a QC Manager for our Orla, TX project to oversee quality control processes and ensure adherence to Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations. You will monitor codes, practices, and performance standards while developing QC policies at the jobsite and reporting to the Project Manager.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 3+ years of QC experience, and strong communication, decision-making and safety-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and accept accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stress and emotions in a construction environment.
• Experience identifying and resolving conflicts; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement QC policies at the jobsite.
• Ensure Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations are followed; maintain site safety.
• Ensure Nicholson quality standards are met.
• Perform overall quality control of the work and report to PM.
• Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide technical support.
