Job summary

Clark Foundations, a division of Clark Construction Group, seeks a Projection Manager to oversee design and construction of depth foundations and excavation support systems in Baltimore, MD. You will develop design documents, collaborate with owners and general contractors, and manage procurement and constructability reviews.

Ideal candidates bring 3–6+ years of self-perform experience in deep foundations, PE credentials preferred, and a strong ability to lead a team through fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical/structural focus.
• Experience in design of support of excavation systems using specialty software.
• Ability to review development phase and contract documents and geotechnical reports to advise on sheeting/shoring and deep foundations solutions.
• Professional Engineer credentials preferred but not required; willingness to obtain PE.
• 3–6+ years of experience with emphasis on self-perform work and design/construction of sheeting/shoring and deep foundations.
• Experience with specialty foundations contractors or consultants is a must.
• Experience managing specialty foundations projects from start to finish is a huge plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop design documents for sheeting and shoring and deep foundations projects.
• Collaborate with project owners, general contractors and design professionals during development phase.
• Facilitate material and service procurement for the projects.
• Work with field supervision to develop construction plans and perform constructability reviews.
• Understand and apply the company’s contracts and ensure all parties are covered.
• Secure permits and verify insurance coverage for construction work.
• Schedule and lead project meetings to coordinate work activity.
• Prepare monthly job status reports and monitor project issues.
• Provide administrative and technical leadership for the project.
• Maintain project records and monitor correspondence.
• Supervise project closeout.
• Build relationships with owner, engineering firms, and general contractor teams.
• Participate in proposals and presentations.
