Kleinfelder's geotechnical team is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead investigations, design review, and field activities for infrastructure projects in the Southeast. The role offers leadership of a geotechnical group, client engagement, and opportunities for career growth.

Location is flexible within the Southeast. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, an EIT/GIT license (PE/PG preferred), and a commitment to safe, high-quality work and collaboration with interdisciplinary

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Geological, or Mining) or Geology.
• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field a plus.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Engineer/Geologist in Training (EIT/GIT) license; PE or PG license preferred.
• Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Position will require the candidate to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized, and have a keen sense of detail.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of projects meeting client and company requirements for safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Have experience with developing business pursuits and solid client relationships.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external clients to understand their needs.
• Be an effective leader of a geotechnical group and project teams.
• Mentor and manage junior staff and project level geotechnical professionals through project performance.
• Develop appropriate scopes for geotechnical field and office tasks.
• Coordinate and manage small to large size multi-disciplined projects with guidance and support from senior operations/technical staff.
• Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis, and technical activities.
• Prepare or review geotechnical designs, reports, and calculations as needed on projects.
