Job summary

Condon-Johnson & Associates, a leading geotechnical construction contractor in the Western United States, seeks a Project Manager to drive project results through estimating, cost control, scheduling, and budgets for shoring projects.

You will supervise teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain client relationships. Travel to diverse project sites will be required, with opportunities for growth in a growing family‑owned company.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
  • Working knowledge of L&I, OSHA/EPA construction standards and EHS regulations.
  • Ability to travel to different work sites in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate project scope, cost, and schedule accurately.
  • Supervise project team and manage design-build shoring projects.
  • Review proposals, manage budgets, and control costs.
  • Ensure profitable project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain safety and regulatory compliance on site.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

PROJECT MANAGER

In this position, you will assume accountability for project results through accurate and timely estimating, cost control, scheduling, developing budgets, and managing design‑build shoring projects. The Project Manager will supervise team members working on their projects and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable Federal and State laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Experience in deep foundations, earth retention and ground improvement
  • Responsible for all project administration for their team
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements
  • Complete owner billings and process of payments in accordance with the contract
  • Closely monitor budgets to ensure project’s profitability
  • Execute the internal and external change management process
  • Ensure effective communication with all appropriate parties
  • Manage the closeout process to meet contractual agreements
  • Maintain client relations
  • Assemble, distribute, and track document packages through the life of the project
  • Provide guidance to direct reports and team members
  • Communicate effectively with Superintendents to receive updates
  • Ensure that this is a healthy and accident‑free work environment on during the project
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • BS or MS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Working knowledge of L&I, OSHA/EPA construction standards and EHS regulations and hazard control methods
  • Goal and Schedule Driven
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct EHS training
  • Capable and ambitious to travel to different work sites in the Pacific Northwest
  • Personable, outgoing, competitive, and driven to lead
  • Outstanding speaking, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to Adapt to Changing Environments
  • 2 to 3 years of Field Experience
  • 5 to 8 years of Increasing Project Management Experience

Compensation Salary ranges from $105,000 to $140,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and level of the role.
