Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager (PE) for Northern California, with options in Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, or Monterey Bay. The role is hybrid and pays $130-160k base salary plus bonus and comprehensive benefits, with an opportunity to lead technically challenging projects and shape the growth of a respected geotechnical practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Strong client-facing and business development skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from proposal through delivery.
• Lead investigations, analyses, and engineering design efforts.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project deliverables.
• Support business development initiatives and practice growth efforts.
