Job summary

WSB is seeking a Project Geologist to lead geotechnical field investigations and report preparation for primarily single-family projects in the Los Angeles area. You will provide technical leadership, oversee field programs, and ensure high-quality geological and geotechnical services for clients in Van Nuys, CA, and surrounding areas.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Geology, 5–7 years of field experience, and credentials such as PG and CEG.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or Geological Sciences required.
• 5–7 years of progressive geologic and geotechnical field experience in the Los Angeles area.
• Experience leading field programs and preparing technical reports.
• Professional Geologist (PG) and Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) preferred.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software and MS Office.

• Lead geotechnical field investigations and report preparation.
• Develop field exploration and testing plans tailored to each project.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee project execution.
• Support foundation design and slope stability considerations.
