Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical or civil engineering.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Licensure in other states as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engineering service and project management with in-house tools.
• Perform engineering analysis on residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Prepare and check design calculations, models and plans.
• Design structures using steel, timber and reinforced concrete.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop coordinated designs.
• Log borings and conduct field and lab tests for geotechnical studies.
• Prepare project documentation including plans and reports.
