Job summary

Commercial Metals seeks a geotechnical/structural engineer to support Geopier design-build solutions and project feasibility with Area Managers and licensed teams. You will perform engineering analyses, prepare design reviews, and contribute to RAP design and slope stability assessments.

BS in Civil Engineering is required; MS in geotechnical engineering and PE license are preferred. Michigan-based role with opportunities for professional growth within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions.
Experience reading and interpreting project documents and drawings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Area Managers and licensed teams to support Geopier design-build solutions.
Perform engineering analyses and prepare design reviews.
Prepare or review engineering calculations and establish direction on projects with limited supervision.
Support RAP design reviews and slope stability analyses.
