Job summary

Certerra South in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Project Engineer to support geotechnical testing and field investigations. You will collect and analyze data for foundations, roads, and structures, and compile findings into geotechnical reports with safety considerations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in civil engineering, a BS in Civil Engineering, and hands-on use of GeoStudio Slop/W, AutoCAD, GIS, and MS Office. On-site work with a collaborative team is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Civil engineering.
• Minimum BS in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with retaining walls, GeoStudio Slop/W software, AutoCad, GIS and Microsoft Office Products.
• Engineering Geologist experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support geotechnical field investigations and sampling.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret geotechnical data for foundations, roads and other engineered structures.
• Provide field observations, data, maps and calculations in geotechnical reports.
• Provide project and site management of geotechnical projects to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with Certerra management and other teams to prioritize projects and workloads.
• Communicate necessary adjustments to management and clients.
• Engage in professional development to enhance performance.
