We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Roswell, GA team! Come join us!

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Foundation and subgrade evaluations
  • Hand auger and DCP exploration
  • Proof rolling
  • Rebar evaluations
  • Training junior staff
  • Boring layout
  • Access clearing for drilling equipment
  • Management of CMT projects
  • Management of geotechnical projects
  • Writing of geotechnical reports
  • Reviewing invoices
  • Communicating with owners and clients
  • Writing proposals, and business development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate with bachelor degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Licensed with a P.E. Registration or scheduled for exam.
  • The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ previous experience, preferably with a geotechnical consulting firm.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate in English.
  • Good organizational skills, positive attitude and good work ethic.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Technical Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have mastered the fundamental geotechnical skills.
  • Be a primary contact providing timely responses to client’s needs and requirements.
  • Responsible for project management on jobs including providing oversight, QA/QC, analysis, laboratory testing, and field services as required.
  • Review project invoices for accuracy.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex conditions, solve problems with multiple options and outcomes requiring advance analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Preparation of proposal and contract documents.
  • Conduct and direct field activities including explorations and geotechnical observations.
  • Perform analysis of complex geotechnical conditions.
  • Prepare written geotechnical evaluation reports.
  • Training and mentoring of engineering staff.
  • Business development.
