  • 12 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license required.

Job description

What You'll Do
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Geotechnical staff within a branch and region.
  • Host or attend project meetings with clients and ECS staff to deliver technical solutions.
  • Mentor Associate Principals as needed.
  • Participate in review committees for candidates seeking Associate Principal (Geotechnical) designation.
  • At the office and regional levels, responsibilities include:
    • Overseeing projects
    • Performing technical report reviews
    • Preparing and reviewing proposals
    • Managing department and P&L
    • Business development and client interaction
    • Supporting staffing decisions with hiring managers
    • Leading and coaching junior staff
    • Performing tasks in CMT due to departmental overlaps
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in applicable states.
  • Valid driver's license if driving for ECS or on ECS's behalf.
