Job summary

ECS Group of Companies, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a qualified candidate to provide technical expertise within the Geotechnical department. The role includes mentoring staff, overseeing projects, and engaging in business development. Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to engineering or geology and possess 12 years of experience, along with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license. Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience.
• Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.

• Host or attend project meetings with clients and/or ECS staff to provide technical solutions.
• Mentor Associate Principals.
• Participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation.
• Oversee projects.
• Perform technical report reviews.
• Prepare and review proposals.
• Assist with management of the department and P&L.
• Engage in business development and assist in client interactions.
• Assist hiring managers in staffing decisions.
• Lead and coach junior staff members.

Education

Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field

• Oversee projects.
• Perform technical report reviews.
• Prepare and review proposals.
• Assist with management of the department and P&L.
• Engage in business development and assist other staff in marketing services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
• Assist hiring managers to help make staffing decisions.
• Lead and coach junior staff members.
• Due to low barriers between departments, duties may also include performing the above tasks in CMT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field is required.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required in each of the state(s) in which you work.
• A valid driver’s license is required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
