Job summary

CERTERRA Instrumentation and Monitoring is seeking an Engineering ProjectAnalyst for our Ozone Park, NY headquarters. You will analyze structural and geotechnical monitoring data, develop reports, and collaborate with engineers and field technicians to ensure accurate data processing.

This role emphasizes data review, client communication, and QA/QC support within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis; data visualization experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in construction, environmental monitoring, or engineering support roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate structural and geotechnical monitoring data from various instrumentation systems (vibration, displacement, strain, etc.).
• Develop professional monitoring reports in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Assist in the modification and improvement of monitoring plans based on field data and client feedback.
• Work closely with project engineers and field technicians to ensure accurate and timely data processing.
• Interface directly with clients to communicate findings, answer questions, and support decision‑making.
• Maintain organized databases of monitoring data and support QA/QC procedures.
