Job summary

Geocomp, Inc. in Elmsford, NY seeks a Geotechnical Materials Laboratory Manager to lead quality‑system lab operations at GeoTesting Express, supervise staff, and ensure timely, accurate testing.

A Bachelor’s degree in Materials/Civil Engineering or Geology, 2+ years in geotechnology, supervisory experience, and soils testing expertise are required. The role supports infrastructure projects through rigorous QA and client‑facing quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• Two years of experience in geotechnology-related occupation.
• Supervisory experience in a geotechnical laboratory environment.
• Experience with soils and soil testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct quality system laboratory tests.
• Implement, improve & maintain quality system through documentation, proficiency, accreditations.
• Prepare QA project reports.
• Analyze tests and ensure they are conducted in accordance with our quality system laboratory training programs.
• Provide quotes/pricing to clients in a timely manner.
• Oversee the daily operation of GeoTesting Express.
• As part of the management team supervise laboratory employee
