ECS Limited is a leading geotechnical and construction materials consulting firm seeking a talented Lab Manager to oversee the Charlotteteam in quality control and staff management within the CMT laboratory.

You will lead testing activities, ensure compliance with QMS and certification policies, mentor staff, and collaborate with project managers to meet department goals and client needs.

Qualifikationen

• Requires 4+ years of experience performing laboratory tests on construction materials.
• Must maintain basic concrete and/or soils lab certifications.
• Must be able to lift 60–80 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Promote laboratory safety and ensure PPE usage; oversee calibration and maintenance of equipment.
• Lead geotechnical and construction materials testing activities and staff.
• Oversee schedules and work of laboratory technicians and interpret test data.
• Perform routine soils tests (Atterberg limits, gradation, moisture) and oversee concrete testing tasks.
• Prepare reports and summaries of findings; assist in data reduction.
• Mentor and train lab staff; support project managers and department manager; participate in business development.
