Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma; ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Nuclear gauge and basic concrete and soils certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities and personnel related to geotechnical/construction materials laboratory testing.
• Oversee laboratory tests, data interpretation, and prepare reports or summaries.
• Maintain day-to-day lab operations with focus on financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC policies and accreditation requirements (AASHTO, AMRL, DOT).
• Maintain calibration schedules and records for lab equipment; manage supplies and PPE.
