Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is seeking motivated students for 2027 geotechnical engineering internship opportunities across our office locations, including Canton, MI.

Interns will support active projects, perform fieldwork, data collection, and prepare plans and reports under supervision. Responsibilities include site inspections, data analysis, AutoCAD drafting, GIS data management, and project documentation while adhering to MSG's safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; AutoCAD or GIS experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist project teams with technical and administrative project tasks.
• Participate in construction or site inspections, field sampling, and testing, as applicable.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and enter project data.
• Support the preparation of plans, drawings, and other materials using AutoCAD.
• Conduct office research and assist with reports and project documentation.
• Enter, update, and maintain Geographic Information System (GIS) data.
• Participate in site visits and project meetings as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and follow MSG's safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties based on the intern's area of study and project needs as requested.
