Job summary

Gessner Engineering is seeking a Geotechnical Intern for Spring/Summer 2027 in Bryan, TX. The internship is part-time and focuses on supporting the geotechnical team with field service requests and lab testing.

Responsibilities:

• Aid team in field service requests
• Assisting lab crew with performing lab testing.
• Collaborate with peers to review and request or provide guidance on appropriate project direction
• Draft lab and field reports for project manager review and approval
• Collaborate in a team setting with department members and other design disciplines such as civil, structural, and external sub-consultants and clients, as necessary, for project coordination.
• Provide regular project updates and a forecast of obstacles to a supervising project manager

Availability

• Spring Interns are required to maintain consistent ability to work 16+ hours per week
