Job summary

GeoEngineers is seeking motivated engineering students for our geotechnical Summer 2027 internship opportunities in Boise, Idaho. You will monitor field explorations, document field conditions, and assist with lab testing under professional mentorship.

This paid internship, paying around $26 per hour, offers hands-on field and office experience, safety training, and opportunities for future roles. Enrollment in Civil/Geotechnical/Environmental Engineering and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Basic MS Office skills preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and complete tasks on time.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor field explorations and construction projects under guidance.
• Document field conditions and complete field reports.
• Assist with routine laboratory testing and analyses.
• Assist engineers with office and project deliverables.
• Organize and maintain lab and field equipment; ensure safety.
