Qualifications

• Provide a meaningful learning experience for talented students.
• Assist with field investigations, lab work, and office tasks.
• Gain exposure to geotechnical, geoenvironmental, hydrologic and geologic engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations including logging borings and test pits, collecting samples, performing field tests, and observing cone penetration and geophysical testing.
• Observe construction of foundations, ground improvement, shoring, grading operations, and other geotechnical construction.
• Drafting, calculations, cross-sections, developing lab programs, boring logs, report preparation.
