Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Foresight is hiring a geotechnical graduate engineer to support transportation and infrastructure projects across Texas. The role involves geotechnical consulting through all project phases—development, design, construction, and maintenance. Work will be performed independently with supervisory support, following all relevant laws, standards, and company procedures.

Roles And Responsibilities

As a key team member, the selected candidate will take on diverse roles and support the growth of our geotechnical services group, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Geotechnical investigations, field exploration, and testing
• Engineering analysis of walls, slopes, foundations, and pavements
• Developing design recommendations, details, plans, and specifications
• Preparing, composing, and reviewing related geotechnical reports
• Conducting construction inspection services
• Performing Foresight business development and operations duties as needed
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified EngineerinTraining in the State of Texas is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree; Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar field
• Master’s degree; Geotechnical Engineering preferred, but not required
• Proficiency is applicable analysis software preferred; Slide, LPile, MSEW, Settle
• Skilled in communication and collaboration to resolve project issues with teams and stakeholders
  
  

JOB LOCATION

The selected candidate will primarily perform office duties at Foresight’s Austin headquarters, located at 13805 Research Blvd, Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78750. A hybrid work-from-home arrangement may be available, depending on project needs and team coordination.

Field work will take place at project or materials storage sites, which will vary depending on specific assignments.

Travel Requirements

Less than fifty percent of the role involves conducting field investigations, including assisting with geotechnical drilling and site forensic inspections at various locations throughout Texas.
