Geo-Technology Associates Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Field (Materials Testing) Technician for our Wilkes-Barre, PA office.

You will observe construction activities and perform testing on soil, concrete, and related materials, with opportunities for training and certifications. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a good driving record, and enjoy outdoor work; standing and lifting up to 60–80 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Own Transportation and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• ACI, NICET, WACEL and/or other certifications desired.

Geotechnical Field (Materials Testing) TechnicianRequirements:

• ACI, NICET, WACEL and/or other certifications desired

PLEASE NOTE: This position may require standing for extended durations as well as repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering. The employee must have the ability to use their hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit, see and smell; including close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus. The employee will regularly lift and/or move 60 pounds, and occasionally move 80 pounds or more (such as a loaded wheelbarrow of concrete or soil samples).
