Job summary

A civil engineering firm is seeking an entry-level Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will assist with field tasks for geotechnical projects, document site observations, and perform various related activities. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geological Engineering is required. No prior experience is necessary, but a valid driver’s license is needed for driving duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with field tasks supporting geotechnical projects.
• Document site observations for both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical field work.
• Assist with or perform tasks such as: perform boring and test pit layouts and prepare drilling packages.
