Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Geotechnical Field Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of geotechnical field operations across multiple projects. You will help with scheduling, resource allocation, and communication between field staff, project managers, and office personnel.

Strong organizational and communication skills, along with a solid background in geotechnical drilling processes, are essential to ensure safety, productivity, and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Layouts borings and test pits by conventional surveying and GPS.
• Observes and classifies test pits and soils.
• Performs hand auger borings, DCP testing, soil logging and other field work.
• Communicates daily with site contractors, project managers and ECS personnel.
• Assists in training staff on field testing and sampling techniques and data interpretation.
