Job summary

GeoTek is seeking Special Inspectors for our Albuquerque, NM office. You will perform testing, observations, and site assessments, operating equipment and reporting data in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include daily work coordination, reporting, and submitting time sheets, with potential budget change notices and client sign-offs. Must hold ICC certifications and a valid driver's license, and be able to work in varied weather and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• ICC certifications in listed areas (Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Structural Steel & Welding, Structural Steel & Bolting).
• CWI certification.
• ACI Field certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to perform tasks in adverse weather and site conditions.
• May be required to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Good or corrected vision and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments with Supervisor and Dispatch.
• Prepare daily and data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform tests and inspections as assigned.
• Submit company documents and time sheets.
• Obtain client sign-offs when required or for scope changes.
• Notify Supervisor or Project Manager of changes or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
