Job summary

Safety and quality are emphasized. You will draft plans using CAD, perform basic calculations, and collaborate with project teams under a Professional Engineer's supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Understand and practice quality acumen.
• Support consistent quality standards on proposals and project delivery.
• Developing engineering professional; assignments designed to develop knowledge and abilities.
• Assist in research, data collection, field observation, testing, and report preparation.
• Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.
• Consult with other technical people and supervisor on routine projects.
• May perform basic calculations and engineering analysis.
• Draft routine proposals and assist in more complex proposals.
• Plan drafting using CAD software.
• Work with engineering technician crews on site and prepare daily reports.
• Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
