Braun Intertec is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our St. Cloud office. You will perform field and laboratory tests, work with engineers on projects, and prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing work.

This role offers opportunities to manage basic projects and develop solutions and reports for review, with travel up to 25% and a path toward professional licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical or materials emphasis.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to travel up to 25% and lift 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests.
• Work independently on assignments and with engineers on larger projects.
• Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects.
• Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects.
• Maintain client communications and build client relations.
• Develop solutions and engineering reports for review.
• Observe construction and report to project engineer.
• Gain experience toward PE licensure.
