Job summary

GeoStabilization International® is seeking an Associate Engineer II to contribute across the lifecycle of geohazard mitigation projects. The ideal candidate will partner with senior engineers to design innovative solutions for slope stability and ground improvement.

This hybrid role requires proficiency in engineering design, fieldwork in rugged environments, and collaboration across teams. The annual base salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience, with generous benefits including flexible PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant geotechnical or structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Minimum EIT required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
• Willingness to travel up to ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze geotechnical and structural solutions.
• Conduct site reconnaissance in steep terrain.
• Prepare defensible calculation packages.
• Support proposals and bids in coordination with project management.
