Job summary

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking Field Engineers to be technical leaders on active geohazard mitigation projects. You’ll own field outcomes, translate designs into on-site execution, and influence safety, quality, and project margins.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil or Geological Engineering (EIT/PE valued) and are proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. Willingness to travel ~70% across U.S., Canada, or Australasia is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field (EIT or PE valued).
  • Analytical, rigorous, able to handle ambiguity and incomplete information.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site technical authority translating design specifications into field execution with safety and quality.
  • Conduct site investigations & geotechnical analysis to inform mitigation decisions.
  • Design implementation and adaptive problem-solving for geohazard mitigation systems.
  • Coordinate with project management and construction teams; document as-built conditions and progress.
