Job summary

GTA is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Technician for our Georgetown, Delaware office. Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other construction materials, with an emphasis on field observations and data collection.

This is an excellent entry role for new graduates with interests in geology, civil engineering and construction. GTA supports training, certifications and career advancement; a reliable vehicle and good driving record are required for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• B.S. in Geology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science. Preferred, but not required.
• Engineering Technician experience and certificates such as NICET, ACI, WACEL, are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials.
• Perform data collection and field observations during site visits.
• Support training and certification pursuits for career advancement.
