Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate Civil Engineering program with anticipated graduation May 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in Geotechnical Engineering and related fields.
• Strong communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Ability to take direction from mentors and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Geotechnical Engineering.
• Support with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Assist in preparing final design plans, cost estimates, and provisions.
• Help collect and maintain project documentation.
