Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC) seeks a Geotechnical Engineering Intern for our Pittsburgh, PA office to support subsurface investigations and geotechnical analyses. You will gain hands-on experience across building foundations, slopes, walls, landslides, and pavements while assisting with materials testing on active projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support subsurface drilling and soil/rock sampling.
• Prepare boring logs.
• Assist in developing laboratory testing programs.
• Interpret laboratory data and perform geotechnical analyses.
• Assist in preparing detailed geotechnical reports.
• Projects span commercial, retail, institutional, energy and industrial clients.
