Job summary

Civil and Environmental Consultants (CEC) in Pittsburgh, PA offers a Civil Engineering Intern/Co-Op position for Summer 2027. You will work with project teams to design and prepare engineering plans and exhibits for clients across site development projects, from urban redevelopment to energy infrastructure.

You will experience all project phases, including regulatory review, bidding, construction, and ribbon cutting at opening.

Qualifications

Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
AutoCAD experience preferred.
Prior internship and/or design experience a plus.
Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and preparing engineering plans and exhibits for clients.
Collaborate with project teams on site development projects ranging from urban redevelopments to energy infrastructure.
Participate in project phases from conceptual design through regulatory review, bidding, construction, and ribbon cutting.
Work with a mentor and attend workshops to develop professional skills.
