Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to work in Atlanta, GA. The role involves assisting with project plans, reports, and field data collection under the guidance of senior engineers.

The candidate should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years of geotechnical experience and be eligible for EIT within 12 months. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools is required; internship or co-op experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits and data collection.
• Assist with permitting and regulatory coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with disciplines.
• Support project managers with budgeting and scheduling tasks.
