Geotex Engineering is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to lead moderately complex geotechnical projects and deliver technically sound reports in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, a passion for client satisfaction, and the ability to collaborate across teams. A PE license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months is required, with duties based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Geotex Engineering is looking for experienced Geotechnical Engineer (PE). The candidate will manage moderate to complex geotechnical projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations. The candidate MUST have excellent technical report writing ability and considerable writing experience The ideal candidate should have a passion for excellence, client satisfaction, and enjoy making a positive impact through a collaborative team effort. A Professional Engineering (PE) is required or the candidate must be able to obtain the appropriate license within one (1) year of employment. This position will reside in our Dallas-Fort Worth location.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work within a team on specific assignments of limited scope and with senior leadership review
• Identify Business Development opportunities
• Prepare engineering reports that provide practical geotechnical solutions
• Develop and manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
• Perform and review engineering calculations, such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, and seepage
• Conduct geotechnical field investigations
• Other duties as required

Physical Demands:

• Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.)
• Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime as needed
