EEDAS PLLC. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with a P.E. license (preferred) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will perform geotechnical investigations, analyze soils, and contribute to foundation design and slope stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical software and tools (e.g., LPILE, PLAXIS, GeoStudio, AutoCAD).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyses to support the design and construction of various projects.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and soil improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.
• Oversee fieldwork, including soil sampling, testing, and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
